    Default Black wire with orange stripe?

    Hi. I have a Holley Avenger EFI on a 347 Ford with an HEI big cap ignition distributor. My car just came back from a rebuild. There's a black wire with orange stripe that sparks every time it touches metal and blows the fuel pump fuse! What do I do with this wire? Thanks.

    According to the wiring diagram on page 25 of the Holley Avenger EFI 4BBL TBI instruction manual (550-401), there is no black/orange wire.

    Default Fuel Prime very faint.

    I'm having trouble getting the fuel pump to prime or turn on. The pump sound is very faint and for 2 seconds not 5. The car won't start. Please help.

    Have you tried tracing the wire to see where it's coming from? It could be a CD ignition box wire if you're running a CD ignition box.
