    Default 4R70W Controller

    Hi. Is it only the Dominator that can Control an 1998 4R70W transmission? Or can use the V5 an update the others system? I want to use a TBI system like the Terminator Stealth. Any options for a solution? Regards, Rob

    Only the Dominator ECU has electronic transmission control (or a Terminator EFI system with a Dominator ECU).

    Thanks. So I can buy the Dominator ECU and connect it to a Terminator TBI?

    Okay, but it says 4L60E/4L80E Transmission Control, nothing but the 4R70W? Or I'm missing something?

    The latest Holley Dominator V5 EFI software/ECU firmware can control the following electronic transmissions:
    GM 4L60/4L65E with 1.75 2nd Gear (pre-2009)
    GM 4L60/4L65E with 1.63 2nd Gear (pre-2009)
    GM 4L70E (2009+)
    GM 4L80E/4L85E
    Ford AODE
    Ford 4R70W (92-97)
    Ford 4R70W (98-03)
    Ford 4R70W (2003+)
    Chrysler Future
