Default Will the Holley in-tank OE fuel pump work?

Hi. Collecting parts to install a 6.0L LS into my 1955 Chevy two door. I have the late truck kit, and a 2011 truck engine. The car is currently a driver with a 350. Will the Holley OE in-tank module for a 1955 Chevy work as it's returnless? Am I better off running an external pump and a regulator on the return? Thanks.

I'd run a return style system. Not saying your in-tank won’t work, but you have to maintain 58 psi pressure to the rails.
