Thread: 558-304 GM HEI adapter harness.

    Default 558-304 GM HEI adapter harness.

    I'm wiring up my Stealth HP system, SBC engine. I have a computer controlled distributor and Holley 558-304 harness: (https://www.holley.com/products/fuel.../parts/558-304). In the instructions in section 10: (https://documents.holley.com/199r10851.pdf) it says to run the white wire (which the harness has) to the negative post on the coil, and the red or pink wire to the positive. No problem on the white wire, but the red wire off the harness adapter just goes into the connector itself and back into the harness (i.e. it's not unterminated like the white wire). What do I do here?

    Oh man, thanks so much Danny! I guess I was reading the wrong manual and I just don't need to worry about the red wire that's terminated. Glad I asked because I was about to T into it and run a lead back to the positive terminal on the coil.
