Thread: Target AFR - Idle Area

    Default Target AFR - Idle Area

    I've been playing with spark plugs and my Target AFR and making progress on not carbon fouling the plugs. I've targeted the cells that my idle floats around on during idle on my Target AFR table. Question is (I know to blend smooth, etc.) the cell above is 13.8-13.9 and the cells below are 14.5; should I blend this area so those top cells are closer to the 14.5, which in turn my idle would likely smooth out some more instead of it trying to target between 13.8-14.5 in the idle area? Then after I get the spot smoothed & blended, I should be able to progress from there.

    Yes, the Target Air/Fuel Ratio table should be flat (same value) in the idle area.
