Thread: How to test the W/M?

Default How to test the W/M?

I've been unable to test the Water/Meth configuration on my Dominator. I've set the PWM Table to spray at zero RPM and 6 psi, and with the key-on/engine-off, I apply more than 6 psi to the MAP sensor, but the W/M system will not turn on. What am I missing?

Which Injection Mode is it programmed for?
Duty Cycle (%) Mode – Injects based on the program’s duty cycle entered.
Fuel Flow (%) Mode – This is the advised method of injection. Injects a precise volume of Water/Methanol mix, which is a percentage of the actual engine Fuel Flow at that point.

It's set to Duty Cycle % Mode, and I do not have a Enable Manual Activation switch.

Which version EFI software/ECU firmware are you using? Read last paragraph on page 2: https://documents.holley.com/techlib...evisionlog.pdf (Holley EFI V5 Revision Log)

Yeah, I hope that's the problem.

V5 Build 100 had issues with Water/Meth, I'm not sure if V5 Build 32 did.

I got the issue solved. I had wired the solenoids wrong. The Holley Water/Meth configuration now works perfect. But the software needs a test setting, because I had to idle the car, and manipulate the PWM Table to test it. I should be able to test without the engine running.
