Thread: Holley 112-588 Throttle Shafts Upside Down?

Default Holley 112-588 Throttle Shafts Upside Down?

I was looking over the throttle body after receiving it and noticed the throttle shafts appear to be installed upside down. Are the heads for the screws supposed to be facing toward the bottom of the throttle body? Pictures:

That's the way they are. Only 2300/4150/4160 carbs with a separate throttle body are assembled from the top. Even 4010/4011 carbs are assembled from the bottom. Screws only go in one way. Gary

Yes, and besides that, the throttle shafts are flat only on one side. The shaft ends wouldn't work the other way.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks, I was just a little concerned having only dealt with 4150 style carbs and Terminator throttle bodies before. I never really paid attention to that before.
