Thread: Bad WBO2 causing other issues.

    Default Bad WBO2 causing other issues.

    Driving last night and the truck started acting up. The data on the 5.7" TSLCD dash was reading crazy. AFR was freezing, oil, fuel & temp were fluctuating, but the worst was the voltage gauge was randomly dipping to 7-9 volts. When it did this, the truck ran the worst, and would try to die. Was hard to keep running, popping in the exhaust. Tried a datalog during this and it showed a blank white screen. With the ECU powered up, engine off, the AFR read about 10:1. So I unplugged it and all is good. Runs fine in Open Loop. My question is has anyone had a bad WBO2 cause these other issues? Didn't find any info searching. Running V2.

    If a new WBO2 sensor resolves this, then it was probably shorting out and affecting the EFI system.

    That was my thought also. I'm just surprised that I haven't read/heard of someone having the same problem. Been driving it with the WBO2 unplugged and still no issues.
