    Default 6AL Coil Connection

    Hi MSD. Quick question. I have the 6AL a fair way away from the coils. Can I earth the coil negative to the block, and only connect the orange wire to the positive terminal? Regards, Robert.

    Sorry to say no, the black ground wire needs to be used coming from the 6AL unit. Please do not ground the coil to the block. Thank you.

    You need to run one wire, a fraction more effort to run two, and then it will BE correct. That's the way the system is designed. Gary

    Please use the orange & black with to the coil again. Please do not ground the negative side of the coil to ground. Thank you.
