    Default Do you need laptop hooked up for HP to self-tune?

    I was wondering if I need to keep the laptop hooked up and open every time I drive the car to self Learn? I don't mind it, but sometimes the Holley disconnects and doesn't stay online. I don't want to miss precious Learn time. Ha ha. Thanks.

    No, not at all. The ECU will populate the Learn Table as long as the enabling criteria is met which is that the coolant modifier must be 100% (engine at temp). Don't need a laptop hooked up for that to happen.

    Enable Closed Loop (Closed Loop Parameters) and Base Fuel Learn Enabled (Learn Parameters) are the only boxes that needs to be check marked.
    The Coolant Temperature Enrichment % & A/F Ratio Offset tables must be at 100% & zero to enter Learn mode.
    You'll need to reconfigure these tables if you're running the engine colder than what the base calibration specifies.

    Once the WBO2 sensor completes its initial heating cycle, Holley EFI is in Closed Loop at all times (unless your Global File is programmed otherwise).
    Learning is what begins at 160-175°F. Closed Loop maintains the Target A/F Ratio (WBO2 sensor). Learning self-tunes the Base Fuel Table (ECU Learn Table).
