Having the static TB setting closed too much and/or the Base Fuel Table not tuned well will cause stalls on throttle lift.

Tuning idle is a bit of art & science. You never said the kPa where the engine is idling. My guess would be somewhere between 50 and 60 kPa. You need to look at the 12-16 cells around where the engine is idling and manually smooth out the Base Fuel Table. No cells should have identical values. You also need to make sure the spark advance is consistent in those same cells in the Base Timing Table. While you're at it, make sure both your Base Fuel and Timing Tables have identical values on the X & Y axes. If you have vehicle speed as an input, adding an Advanced Table will cure the undershooting of Target Idle Speed as you come to a stop. Andrew

I was manually tuning the idle timing and fuel, and I had the Base Timing Table cells all the same, but you totally lost me when talking X & Y axes? Like I said, I can get it idling decent, just the hunting for a few seconds upon a stop. (I can get these things running, but I'm far from a pro!)

The X-axis is the RPM scale, and the Y-axis is the MAP kPa scale.

You're welcome. You can click "Copy Fuel Axes" tab on top of the Base Timing Table.

What are the values in the first 8 RPM cells?
