Vnet Bluetooth
Hello Everyone, Todd? Tim? Is anyone here using the Vnet Bluetooth module? I understand how it works, and have seen the IOS/Android Apps.
What I need to know if how well the connection works? I've seen the video showing the Bluetooth connection while the vehicle static, but what happens when the vehicle is moving? What happens when the vehicle goes out of range, and then comes back into range? Will the Bluetooth connection automatically reset itself?
I'm trying to determine if I can use this Vnet Bluetooth to remote monitor the vehicle, to get data as the car passes by on the front straight, or at least a pass through the pit lane. Another option I'm thinking of is to mount an iPad in the car to show the App gauge display.

I have the module and I've used it in the garage, but that's it so far. The only function of the Vnet Bluetooth is to give you a virtual dashboard (resembling an IQ3) on a tablet. You cannot use it to download your data files for analysis or to do any system maintenance. Keep in mind, that Bluetooth is designed to only have a standard range of 10 meters, and the link quality isn't going to be improved if one side is in motion. So I have my doubts. Only way to really tell is to try it. Keith
