Thread: Sensor power lead, no 12V.

Default Sensor power lead, no 12V.

The new Terminator X wiring harness has a 4-pin connector with a chassis ground, sensor ground, a 5V sensor reference and a 12V sensor reference. My 12V sensor out is a ground the wire is red, but itís grounded itís supposed to be tied in with injectors & coils, so if it were grounded it wouldnít start, right? It runs great, the only problem I have is the driveshaft sensor Iím using needs 12V. I made a nice harness that plugs In to the 4-pin connector, but it has no speed signal, so I quickly found that it had no 12V and further it would light my test light as a ground. So I donít want to cut open a brand new harness if I donít have to. I guess what I want to know is, anyone else run in to this? And if so, pinpoint a location of failed or the particular spot it's connected wrong. Thanks.
