Thread: Updated to V5, fans no longer working.

Default Updated to V5, fans no longer working.

Before I start tracking down wiring issues, any known issues with V5 that would cause the radiator fans to not turn on? Fans were working fine before the update. I double checked the I/O settings, both are set to come on at 195°.

Which build version of V5 are you using? The latest V5 Build 110 software/firmware is on the Holley EFI Tech Resource Library webpage (LINK).

EFI Software & ECU Firmware Versions:
EFI SOFTWARE: click "Help" tab (top toolbar) & "About Holley EFI".
ECU FIRMWARE: click "Sync With ECU" & "Get ECU Info" (Key-on/USB connected).

No, I'm not aware of any electric fan control issues.

Darn. Really weird that they just crapped out, both of them. I was fussing with some of the spark plug wires, so it's conceivable that I disconnected them. Is there a separate fuse driving the relays for the fans? That'll be my first stop.

I'd check your wiring and the EFI software programming again.

Thanks, issue was in the software. At the touchscreen, only options are to set the fans to turn on & off at certain temps, but in the EFI software there are check boxes to enable the outputs, both were disabled. Enabled and uploaded tune to ECU, worked fine.

You're welcome. I knew you'd find it in the EFI software programming.
