A Trick Kit has more parts for tuning, pump nozzles & cams, etc. A Renew Kit is all the basic parts for a rebuild. Gary

Do I use both gaskets on the secondary metering body and plate? Only the blue one (body gasket) was on. The brown one (body plate gasket) was not. The renew kit contains both and the diagram shows both although the diagram is not exactly the carb I have.
The metering plate steel should have gasket material on both sides. So two gaskets, one seals the whole assembly to the main body, one seals the metering plate to the spacer plate. Without the second gasket, crazy metering on the secondary side could occur. Gary

So taking another look, I do NOT have the metering plate steel. I DO have the metering spacer plate. It was mounted to the body gasket. The kit I bought is 37-119 found here: https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...t/parts/37-119. It has both gaskets, but I do not have the steel only the spacer. Am I missing the steel? Carb is an 80457-12.
I'd think it should have the steel, the thin gasket doesn't push into the channels of the metering plate as much.
I personally hate 4160s, I prefer 4150s, and have converted every one of my 4160s to 4150s. Gary

OK, I ordered the steel. What's the difference between a 4160 and a 4150?
