You can still restart the ECU firmware update during the "Sending BAM Binary" phase. When you get to the "Flashing Firmware" phase, it must complete it. If not, the ECU must be sent to Holley to be reflashed at their facility.

Are you running a Holley Digital Dash? If you are, try unplugging the Digital Dash from the ECU and plug the handheld directly to the ECU and try to update it.

He just needs V5 Build 110 EFI software/ECU firmware. It updates just fine, and no need to disconnect anything. I updated mine on Monday.

I got my ECU back a couple months ago, but it still has 5.32 (or 30) on it. When using the EFI software, I don't get any gauges, yet the handheld works fine. When I look at the Firmware update pdf (https://documents.holley.com/techlib...rmwarerev1.pdf), it says to use the software, although that's how I bricked it previously. So do I call Tech support again? Do I try to upgrade the firmware via PC? (Scares me as it clearly doesn't work right still.) Or do I try via handheld? If I do this via handheld, is there a version I should be using?

V5 Build 100 EFI software/ECU firmware was the only version that had known bugs. V5 Build 110 EFI software/ECU firmware is supposed to be fine. Updating the ECU firmware with the EFI software is the only way I ever do it. I tried it once with the 3.5" TSLCD, and it failed (I won't try that again).
