Thread: Terminator HP failed upgrade from V5.30 to V5.100

Default Terminator HP failed upgrade from V5.30 to V5.100

I have a Terminator HP ECU that failed the update from 5.30 to 5.100. Handheld LCD can't connect to ECU and when attempting to reflash firmware, BAM file won't upload. Handheld simply says "Searching for ECU". How do I resolve? Thanks, Charles.

Try updating the ECU with the touchscreen device(s) disconnected.

I just tried that, but I get an "Error 29".

Put a trickle charger on the battery (or regular charger set on low) and plug in the laptop charger cord. If not, contact Holley Tech Service (LINK).

Did you use the newly released (Friday afternoon) V5 Build 110 EFI software/ECU firmware HEFI_05001100.eep?

I'm not sure, my computer told me I couldn't mess with anything until I updated it from .30 to .100. So in order to update it, I clicked on the Sync With ECU drop down within the EFI software and it automatically started to update. It said it lost sync with the ECU with about 5 minutes left to complete the flash of the ECU.

Well, that's the one they retracted due to a bug. As I stated in post #6, the new version is on the Holley EFI Tech Resource Library webpage (LINK).
