Thread: V5 Update

    Default V5 Update

I upgraded my Dominator ECU today with V5 and everything went as planned. I'm running a Digital Dash and went to update it and I could not get it to update. I tried to different flash drives. Tried putting the zip folders on the flash drives, tried unzipping the folders. Tried one folder at a time, nothing worked. Tried downloading it via two different computers. I updated the ECU first and then the Digital Dash. Everything was working just fine with V4. Any ideas?

If the auto update doesn't work for you, then enter the "Configuration" screen and click "Update Firmware".

I tried that multiple times, and I also used the flash drive that came with the Digital Dash first, before I tried another one.

Just an update. Called Holley tech service today and they told me they've been having problems with the Kingston flash drive that was sent out with the dashes. They told me to go to Walmart and buy a new flash drive and try that. I asked if they had a brand that worked better than any other one, and they said no. I tried to order the one Danny linked and I could not get it shipped to my house. Anybody had any luck with a particular brand.

I recently updated to V5 and my Kingston DataTraveler 4GB worked just fine.
