Thread: Dominator not entering Closed Loop

Default Dominator not entering Closed Loop

Long chain of events...poorly placed wideband led to a messed up WBO2 port in my Dominator. So I ordered a new NTK WBO2 and repinned the harness into the J2A port. Since then, I've had nothing but problems trying to get my EFI software to read a correct AFR. My Digital Dash was giving me one reading, my AFR table was giving me another reading, and the Gauge Panel in the Holley EFI software was giving me yet another reading. After messing with the software some more, my software is no longer entering Closed Loop. In my Engine Parameters, I have "NTK", "2" & "Right Only" selected for respective values. In the Closed Loop/Learn tab, I have it clicked to enter Closed Loop, and to enable minimum RPM to enter Closed Loop set to 140°F. I've changed that value to 100°F. I have enabled a Minimum RPM and set it to 650 RPM, and still nothing is allowing it to enter Closed Loop. Everything is done correctly as far as I can tell according to the Holley Help section in the EFI software. I even hooked a friend's laptop up to see if maybe my laptop was acting up with the EFI software. Still nothing. Even changed values while it's "Learning", and when I Transferred Learning To Base and saved the tune, the software changed all values entered as if it were Learning, but still zeroes across the board on my Learn Table. Has anyone ever had this problem and does anyone have any other suggestions for anything else I can do?

I've helped others with this problem a few times. Try reflashing the ECU firmware. Also, sometimes the actual Global File is corrupted somehow. Read below for more info:

Thank you Danny. I'll try reflashing and let you know what happens.

Danny, how do you reflash the ECU? The link you provided just tells how to update firmware for V2

I've reflashed the ECU, double checked every wire, went over my tune multiple times and had multiple people go over the tune. Still not entering closed loop.

I don't know how to post the Global File or Datalog. Every time I try adding the GF, I get a message saying it's an invalid file. But it's a .hefi file?

Zip the files and then post them.
