Thread: Digital Dash Startup Question

    OK thanks. I printed that out and did read it beforehand. I checked with my multimeter (which I guess can’t read the drop out quick enough), but I see the article mentions an oscilloscope. Looking at my datalog I can see the square patterns. I'll see if I can attach my datalog. Sorry for being a pain.

    Yes, that's what viewing a System Log is for (oscilloscope/square wave pattern), as opposed to a regular datalog. Crank & Cam A/D means Analog To Digital. It's the actual signal voltage, not the +5V or +12V reference supply voltage.

    OK, that makes a lot of sense now. Thanks for the insight on Crank & Cam A/D. I was trying to figure out what that stood for.
