    Default Defective/Poor Quality Fuel Pump 12-440-11 Made in Korea.

    I recently purchased a 12-440-11 mechanical fuel pump, and when I was installing it, the main body cracked. Not around the two mounting bolts but the actual body. This pump is clearly marked "Korea" near the pump lever area. This pump has never been run, and the material defect is not due to over tightening of the mounting bolts. It literally snapped when I was installing the fuel line to "in" side of the pump. I could not believe it when I heard the crack and I first confirmed it by feeling the sharp line on the body before removing it.

    Is there a warranty point of contact at Holley that I can contact? I have recently moved and cannot locate the receipt but this is a brand new pump. I know the preference is to return it to the place of purchase, but that is not possible in this case. Thank you for any help. Brian "Rapid Transit"
