Smartwire with V500SD

I bought a V500SD recorder that I am installing on my ProMod car that I am building. I am thinking about using your SmartWire system on the car as well. My recorder has a SmartWire connector on it but I am not sure what kind of cable would connect to the recorder from the SmartWire unit. Do I use the same cable that is used to connect the switch box with to the SmartWire unit or does it require something different? I know you use a Vnet connector on a recorder that does not have the SmartWire connection but my recorder is a new on that has the connection on it.

Hi,

Yes, you would use a SmartWire to Switch Bus Tee Cable: https://store.racepak.com/product/sm...nel-tee-cable/ and then connect using the same cables used to connect from the Switch Bus and the Smartwire.
