First, verify the wire connections on the harness end of the plug are correct

Verify the main connections at the recorder are installed correctly.

For the next step, we'll power up the recorder and simulate a test run by starting a recording and perform a small test. Press and release the record start button.

While the recorder is recording, take a jumper wire (OR paper clip or pair of needle nose pliers) and quickly tap the center pin (clear wire) to the bottom pin (black wire) on the drive shaft connection (where the sensor would plug in) leading back to the recorder for at least 5-10 seconds.

Shut the power off and upload the data as normal. See if you have any readings/values showing up in the data for the time period you were tapping.

If you do, the issue has to be between the sensor and/or collar. Check the sensor alignment, and clearance gap

If you don't, then the cable between the drive shaft end and the recorder end should be inspected. Ensure connectors are plug in correctly and securely. Inspect wires for continuity and/or damage

Should you still have the issue after the above methods, it would be best to contact us at the main office for further inspection details.

    Best Regards,

    Eric
