    Nigel, I agree.

    Blue, thanks for your comment, maybe the Haltech thingo is (part of) a solution? As I said above, I am done experimenting with the Racepak gear so I will not be the one to prove or disprove it. Good luck with the wiring, you have more patience than me!!

    I have a logger dash with the Iron Canyon product for the fuel. Works a treat and when calibrated is very accurate.

    Good to know, my dash has come out of the car but it's replacement would likely suffer the same issue. I might do it a favour and replace the in tank sender as well. The car was built in 1986 so that wiper has gone up and down on the carbon a few times!
