    Default EGT Probes

Hi, i recently had an incident which has lead to the egt probes being pressed and now i was wondering that this could have done any damage to the probes them self. I use 4 of them and 3 were bent. Some more than another. Could this harm the probes? Do i need to get new probes or can i leave them as they are or should i straighten them out to the 90 degrees they were at?

    Sir,
You may need to if you are getting erratic readings. If they have been flattened it may have cracked the porcelain in the probe causing them to not work or read wrong. You would need to test them to be sure.
