    Default 6014 “Latched” setting

Hi. I’m not running a trans brake or 2 step right now. Should the setting be “enabled” or “disabled” I had it set on “disabled” But it seems to be breaking up at 4000 rpm and I’m thinking this may be some of the issue. I went back and read through the instructions but that part seems confusing to me for some reason. Thanks

We normally recommend having it on enabled. The latched feature is there mainly for standard vehicles, what it does is if the 2 step wire is connected to the clutch it will not reactivate unless it sees at least a third of the RPM drop. So if it is set at 3000 rpm it needs to drop 1000 rpm to reactivate. I hope this helps.
