    Default MSD 4217 Hall-Effect sensor & magnet.

Hi, would it be possible to connect pn 4154 Hall-Effect sensor to pn 4217? Any advise regarding wiring? There are 3 wires (white, red, black). Any advise on number of magnets pn 4309 to be installed? HaroldK

The red wire is switched 12 volts, black ground and the white is the wire that would connect the 4217. Thank you.

Hi. The 4217 box is installed on my 2 stroke 80cc race bike. The unit is triggered by a magnetic pickup fired with a 8232 coil. On the 8232 coil I couldn't find which cable should go where, so I tried switching them. I both cases it give a spark. Now, the unit produces enough spark, but can't start the engine. I tried switching the polarity of the magnetic pickup, but still it doesn't start the engine. Please help. HaroldK
