    Default What coil for dual points?

    I have a mallory dual points distributor(2548201) fitted to my sbc and the coil has just packed up. I need to buy a new one and im not sure which one i should get. I would buy a direct replacement for the old one but after checking the part number on it i found it is for an electronic ignition and not points. Can anyone advise me?

    The Accel 8140 coil will work with the Mallory Dual point distributor. No ballast resistor needed.
