Default 1986 Chevy truck check engine light in California.

Looking into Atomic efi it has California air resources board approval for California my question is does this system have any hook up for the check engine light, you still have to have that operational in calif for smog tests, would like to install this in my 86 Chevy, but needs to be able to pass smog.

I am also about to do the Atomic EFI on my 84 El camino in California . from what i have read we need to keep the factory ECU , Factory Distributor and EGR stuff . which means an External TPS must be installed to send TPS signal to the factory ECU . TPS module #2939 I assume you also have the 4 prong factory distributor (timing controlled by ECU)

The factory ECU and smog equipment is required to remain in the vehicle.
The 2939 will provide the 0-5VDC reference for TPS signal.
