    Default Wiring on existing MSD

Hello I will be installing the 2900 kit on a 383 SBC

I now have an old 6420 6AL box with an 8360 distributor and the 8680 timing control.and blaster II coil.

My questions are Can I run the old 6AL box or should i get the digital unit? , Should I eliminate the 8680 and use the ignition timing setup in the Atomic? If so can I lock my 8360 timing and get the 2pc rotor? ( I have the old brown style cap)

Could you provide a suggested wiring diagram if I will be able to use my old 6AL etc.

    Thank you!

    Wade

use the 6420 and the 8360....get it running first ..then switch it to control timing.

at that point,,,all you will need to do is lock out the distributor and install an

    adjustable rotor p/n 84211.

( no need for the 8680)
