I put this system in my '67 Pontiac Lemans with a rebuilt 400.  Pump is mounted outside the tank, returnless.  The previous owner rebuilt the motor and none of the specs were known to us.  We just had to tweak adjustments here and there and be patient with it. I'm sure I'll continue to do that some more, but I can say that I haven't experienced any major problems with  it.
