    Default Holley 450 carburetor

I have a 450 chokeless mechanical carburetor. I was wondering if there were jet kits that could get it up to about a 550 carb.
It also has a dead spot if you stomp the throttle down. It's on a 350 Chevy with an aluminum intake. Engine is pretty well stock.

You can not jet a 450 cfm carburetor up to 550 CFM. The venturi size of the carb is what determines the CFM rating not the jet size. Jets only determine the air fuel ratio.

About the dead spot...if it is the carb that I am thinking about, it does not have a secondary accelerator pump. It will never perform like a carb that has a secondary pump, i.e. "double pumper carb".

Correct, changing jets only changes the amount of fuel through the metering block.
Ensure your accelerator pump is properly adjusted:

Ensure that the slightest movement of the throttle lever, results in actuation
of the accelerator pump lever. That spring loaded screw may need adjustment.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.
