    Default 0-5 volt retard

is there a way to retard the timing with a grid using a 0-5 volt signal, just as a map sensor do except that signal would come from another source?

This may get deleted but if you are trying to hook up a box from Shannon you may need a dtr3000 for it to work properly. Sorry if I am wrong about what you are trying to hook up.
