    Question need help

    ok i have a 6-71weiand blower on a bbc , blower carbs , cam , 8:5 comp , headers , 3' exhaust , fuel pressure 7/8 psi , timing 34degrees in by 2500, 2000 stall , the cam is a crane hyd. , carbs are 750s , my problem is that when i nail it , there is always a pop before 1/2 throttle. i have good auto back ground , but this blower stuff is a new animal to me . i bought everything new so to make it less of a headache , but thiers something im missing , can anyone help lead me in the right direction.

    A supercharged engine needs increased initial timing and less total timing than a naturally-aspirated engine. Boosted applications like a short, yet quick ignition advance curve. Ensure your ignition system is capable and your spark plug gaps aren't too wide. Try more accelerator pump if there isn't black smoke.
