You should run a 3 bar map sensor, that much boost will exceed the range of a 2 bar map sensor.
You'll sacrifice a cap to get the phasing right, but it's cheap compared to an engine failure.
Once you get it right, fit another new cap and keep the one with the hole for future testing.

the 3 bar will be more than you need but at the same note you can add more boost in the future if you wanted to.
as for the cap, you can run the cap with a hole in it as long as you dont drive the vehicle in the rain or where water can "splash" onto the cap. If that is the case I agree with Gaz a cap is cheaper than a motor.
Ok I may still have the old cap. It also doent get driven in the rain. I do run a 3 bar map sensor. Just in case! ;D
