    Exclamation fuel bulbs boiling over

    Bbc modified .. At 190" the primary and sometime secondary boil over... Not out of the breather tube....(850 carb .. Double pumper) (1958 chevy truck)tried heat sheild(plasttic 1 inch)sheilded fuel lines....aluminum radiator (2 -1 inch core) 2 electric fans .... A 160 " thermastate and a manual fan back on ... Which helped a little on the water pump.....float level perfect... Needle and seats perfect....anybody have any answers??? Maybe different system???

    Are you using too large of a fuel pump for your application?
    If you're dead-heading the fuel pump, you should consider a return style fuel pressure regulator.

    yes i am using a regulator... i pulled this motor out of my jet boat and it ran perfect....now it just over heats at 190 and overflows..i have also noticed when the water gets low in the radiator(half way) the pump stops pumping.. even with the water higher then the water pump.. i'm at my witts end for any ideas thanks doug
