Setting up a model 4010 #84020 on a 350 Chevy 4x4 engine. Being its a 600 cfm I know its a bit small but the engine seems to like it just fine. The carb body is a bit different than I'm used to being the bowls are attached to the carb body. I have a few questions for those who know these carbs. First off are they basically the same carb as the traditional Holley carb body style? Are they old enough that they are Pre Ported Spark Vacuum? And if not which nozzle is it? Second, do they get set up like most Holley's? I set the Accelerator Pump Linkage up at .015" clearance. Idle seems a bit rough but haven't put the vacuum gauge to it yet. Any insight to the uniqueness of this carb would be appreciated. Just curious what the thought was for the design and what market they were designed for?
