    Default MC-3 on a quartermidget?

I am interested in the MC-3 or MC-4 ignition to be used on a single cylinder Deco quarter midget engine. Would be using it with a magnetic trigger pickup off of the flywheel and the "Pro Coil PN 8232" Currently using the "Small Engine Controller" ignition. Will the MC-3 or MC-4 ignitions work for this application? Is there any disadvantage to running the MC ignition?

    Thanks for your help, Kevin

The MC-3 and MC-4 will not trigger off your magnetic trigger pickup. These unit trigger off a Hall Efect trigger. If you do not need any timing control the MC-3 would be the unit to use. You will need to run a good 12 volt battery.

    Thank you
