    Default Brand New Enhancer Dead out of the box

    I have a yamaha superjet 2005, and I have installed these many times before, I have never had a problem with them until today. MSD part number 4253 the enhancer for the yamaha superjet. It does not spark while cranking, only when you let off. I put the stock cdi in, spark nicely. I pulled another brand new msd enhancer off the shelf, that I have for backup, plugged it in and it also had a nice spark. All connections are perfect. What gives? Should I return the brand new enhancer to where I bought it? Or should I send it to msd?
