    what would be better to run for a battery on a 7530t total loss setup, 12v battery like a motorcycle or a 18v out of say a cordless drill

    You do not want to go anything higher then 18 volts battery. The ignition is drawing 1 amp per thousand RPM’s. Depending on what other part you are running off the battery would determine the size you need.

    ok let me say this another way,will the 7530t make better performance with 18v or 12to13v

    It will run the same with a 12v or 18v battery. What you need to make sure is you have correct amount of amp's to run the system. No less then 16 amp hour battery.
