Thread: Transmission Temperature ECU Input

    I'm considering using the Auto Meter 2252. Does anyone have a part number or link to the pigtail I need for it? Auto Meter offers a harness, but it's more than the sensor!

    The Delphi Metri-Pack mating connector & terminal is in post #1 of this thread.

    Danny, I'm looking at using the Auto Meter 2253. They list only 8 temp/Ohms settings (LINK). You think we could do the "math" to make up the rest of it for the Holley EFI 16 Cell Calibration Table?

    Plotting it out in Excel, it looks like the curve on the right:

    I would input the values given and leave some columns blank in the area where you would want the most resolution, which is presumably in the normal operating range, then just add values that make it a smooth curve. Andrew

    I excluded the 350F temperature cell, and included the 198F & 213F cells. I also added this sensor calibration data to post #1 of this forum thread.

    Auto Meter 2253 Thermistor Specifications
    Temperature = Ohms (Holley EFI 16 Cell Calibration Table):
    60F = 1200Ω (Right)
    80F = 827Ω
    100F = 453Ω
    130F = 292Ω
    160F = 130Ω
    175F = 103Ω
    190F = 76Ω
    198F = 69Ω
    205F = 62Ω
    213F = 55Ω
    220F = 47Ω
    230F = 41Ω
    240F = 34Ω
    260F = 27Ω
    280F = 19Ω
    315F = 14Ω (Left)
