    Default Auto Meter 5921

I'm getting ready to install an Auto Meter 5921 on my HP EFI system for datalogging & VSS control. Question, can I use 1 of the 4 outputs for the 12V supply to the Auto Meter 5921? it would make for a very clean wire install to the sensor. Thanks.

Yes, but you can also use pin B20/P1B ECU connector (EST 12V Output).

That sounds even easier. I see it in the Pin Map under Fixed Outputs, I assume it put's out the low level 12V anytime the ECU is keyed on?

    Yes, it's 12V at key-on.

Awesome, thanks. That leaves me an extra output to use for something else later.

Just getting back to this due to life getting in the way. One more question. Should the Auto Meter Hall-Effect sensor be connected to a sensor ground like A14, A18, B14, or should it be connected directly to say the engine block? My gut says engine block? Thanks.

Any good ground will be fine. The Dominator ECU's Pin A22 (P2A) is a speed sensor ground for Digital Speed (Hall-Effect) & IPU Speed (VR Magnetic) type sensors.
