Thread: Nitrous Wet

    Default Nitrous Wet

Question for progressive wet nitrous. I installed a direct port (4 solenoid) to activate. I must install one or two Holley 554-111 nitrous solenoid drivers? If two, can we connect them in parallel or connect two solenoids by driver?

Holley's 554-111 High Current Relay (device/solenoid driver) is rated at 40 amps, so you'll need two because the solenoids draw significant amperage.

What's the recommended way to run two of the 554-111 relays for 1 stage of progressive nitrous? Splice both relays trigger wires to the same PWM Output?

Yes, the Outputs aren't subjected to the solenoid amperage draw (due to the SSRs).

Thank you, I just wanted to be sure. I wasn't able to figure out how to send "Nitrous Stage 1" to two separate PWM Outputs.

FYI for progressive wet systems. Many times you will see a lean spike because fuel cannot react as quickly as N2O. Run two stages, one for fuel and one for N2O. Adjust your charts for fuel to get rid of the lean spike and the N2O for what the car can hold.

Anyone have wiring diagrams/instructions for wiring the nitrous?

Not sure I get what you're saying about the two stages, can you give me an example? I see the large lean spike you're referring to on my 400 shot.
