Hello. I'm looking to possibly run a Holley 12-1800 E85 compatible fuel pump on the street, but I'm concerned about the written warning about running past 20 minutes or over 90°F. If I could get a running time of 45 minutes then the pump would be perfect. So my question is would this pump stand up to longer running periods, if I ran a digital relay and duty cycled the primary pump down to say 40% duty? The idea would be to duty cycle the primary up to about 40% throttle and past 60% throttle, activate the secondary pump. I'm currently running a 12-1200 pump, so a direct drop-in would be ideal. This is all controlled by Dominator EFI.

The Holley 12-1800 fuel pump is not capable of circulating "hot fuel" in street driven applications. Read more about it here:
http://documents.holley.com/flyer_ho...el_systems.pdf (Holley EFI Fuel Pump & Filter Catalog - Page 2 & 3)

The newer Holley "hot fuel" capable (pump gasoline/street driven) fuel pumps are Walbro (internally).
The race gas, diesel & E85 only fuel pumps are Delphi (internally). Their newest brushless fuel pumps are made by TI Automotive.May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.
