Hi. I purchased the 750DP from a friend for my 393 Cleveland with Edelbrock alloy heads and F238 Crane cam. For a few months, it had a cheap distributor that I messed with to reduce total timing, and had 10° or 12° initial. Recently installed ICE system with 20° initial, but have slowly reduced that to 16° due to it bucking low speeds/revs. The carb cam with holes in throttle blades, which I swapped put for normal 750 blank ones, due to not being able to reduce idle enough at 20° initial. However, it's still not running smooth with slight throttle. I'm thinking this carb is made to run with holes and maybe I should just put smaller ones in throttle blades. Would I be correct in assuming this?
