Thread: Throttle Body Issue

    Default Throttle Body Issue

I recently finished up my 5.3L, and installed a Holley Sniper intake, along with Holley Sniper 102mm throttle body. The problem is now with engine at idle or revved, it sucks so much air with or without cold air intake attached is screams not whistles. It has no vacuum leaks, but sounds like it has HUGE one. Could the IAC be the issue, or is it a tuning issue? Please help.

What is your IAC Position at idle?

Thanks for the reply. Hmm, I’ve never checked that nor do I know how. I did order a new IAC from Holley today, but guess I need to start figuring out how to check to make sure it’s set right.
