Default I need some 5.7" LCD Touchscreen help.

I went over to a friends house tonight to help him with his car. Before I left, he asked me if I could make his 5.7" TSLCD display the MPH from his new GPS unit. I had never messed with one of the 5.7" TSLCDs, but have updated firmware on the 3.5" LCD Touchscreen, and I own a 7" Digital Dash. I played around with it for a few minutes to get familiar and it locked up. The only way I could get it to release was to hit the suspend button. We noticed then, that his gauges were no longer configured and it had returned back to the default settings. Not a big deal, except that it won't allow us to reconfigure them.

I messed with it for quite a while and thought it would be a good idea to flash the firmware. His HP EFI system is running on V2, so I downloaded the 5.7" TSLCD firmware for V2 and saved it to his SD card after formatting it. There are three files that come in the download. HEFI Config, HEFI Installer & HEFI Gauge. When I go to flash the firmware, the 5.7" TSLCD doesn't see the files. I tried several times, tried power cycling it too. The files are definitely on the SD card. I can tell the system to look for a GF in the SD card, and it tells me that it isn't the correct type of file. Any advice, so I can get him back up & working properly?

Contact Holley Tech Service (LINK). They have a zipped folder with a modified TSLCD Installer to resolve the gauge problem. First read the Word document and follow the directions.

FYI: I called in and spoke with a tech. They gave me the same files you can download yourself. I flashed the firmware to V2 to make sure the TSLCD worked. After I verified it was OK, I flashed his ECU & TSLCD to V4 and now he's good to go.
