Thread: Just installed Dominator EFI, won't start.

    Default Just installed Dominator EFI, won't start.

    Installed Dominator EFI and had car running, not great, but it ran. Then reinstalled EFI software and did the firmware update and can't get car to start. I've tried different programs and ran through the startup, and it fires, but won't start. It is getting fuel. I have raised the Base Fuel Table as instructions say, but it still won't start. HELP.

    The EFI (laptop) software, ECU firmware & touchscreen unit (if applicable) must all be V4 compatible (LINK).

    After updating the EFI software or ECU firmware, I always enter every EFI software screen to verify everything is still correct.
    It doesn't take long. Many people find Global File discrepancies (especially in Engine & Ignition Parameters) because they didn't look.
    The V4 EFI software does have a Global File Comparison Tool (C:Drive, Program Files, Holley, V4 EFI), but I chose not to use it:

    Did you do a TPS Autoset? You have to do that after you upgrade the ECU firmware. I forgot about this last time I updated. My customer wanted to hear his car run, I had just updated the firmware and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start. I was kinda embarrassed.

    Yep, I did the same thing. TPS Autoset was the key!
