Thread: Choke Body Sticking

    Default Choke Body Sticking

I'm trying to adjust the electric choke. The electric choke body is frozen in position. I loosened the three screws and it won't budge. The choke is working, I'm just trying to adjust it. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

I was able to correct this. The metal ring that holds the plastic electric choke body was installed upside down (not by me). I noticed this by accident while reading through some installation instructions. When I looked at my carb sure enough it was backwards. Flipped it around and it was perfect.
