    Default Sniper EFI and mix of E85 & premium gas.

    I'll be getting a Sniper EFI soon. I have a few questions.
    1) Does the Sniper EFI run on E85?
    2) Does it run with a mixture of E85 & premium gas?
    Let's say I have a 1/2 tank of 93 octane premium fuel, and I want to try E85. Will the Sniper EFI be able to make the switch automatically? Danford1

    No, the Sniper EFI doesn't have Flex Fuel capability.

    I run on E85 and have no issues for the past year. If you ever need to switch between fuel or mix, I keep three different Global Files one for 93, one for E85, and one for 50-50. You need to tune them differently, but it can be done.

    How long does it take to switch from one tune to the next? Do you HAVE to have a laptop, or can you do it from the handheld screen? Danford1

    The 3.5" LCD Touchscreen can quickly & easily change Config Files by storing them on the SD Card (LINK - page 73). No laptop required to do so, however, you may need the Sniper EFI software to create the different Config Files.
